Jim Wilson is a graduate of the University of Michigan where he completed a Bachelor of Science degree in English Literature. He wrote for The Michigan Daily, an independent newspaper that serves the city of Ann Arbor, as a culture writer specializing in music criticism and commentary. He is a former staff writer for On The Button, a sports and culture publication. Currently, he is working as a sixth grade teacher in Chicago, and he spends his free time writing a multi-hyphenate music-based blog called No Oldtimers. Here he is shortly after slipping down an icy slope at Rocky Mountain National Park.
